Nate: “Hey Sam?”
Sam: “Yeah?”
Nate: “All right. Just making sure you haven’t plummeted to your death.”
Sam: “Just about there!”

As you can see the two brothers are climbing a watchtower. Is that “just about there” meaning almost there?
By the way, is that “plummet to someone’s death” equal to “fall to someone’s death”?
