I think we know what each other is saying, Piscean. It seems alas that our pedagogical positions may just be too remote to talk about this fruitfully and/or without hand signals. And this isn't the space to do it right here in this thread, anyway.

1. Is "just" used for emphasis? What's the role of it?
2. Does "right here in this thread" go with "do it"?
It seems to me not.
 
1. It means something like 'simply'.
2. Yes. 'do it' means 'talk about this'.

I consider them similar in a basic sense but different enough to be treated separately.
