Hi teachers,

This uncertainty has been bothering for quite some times already. All the while I was using JUST + Past tense where I presumed "just" is refering to past action e.g. I Just saw you in the coffee house, I just had my lunch with John, etc.
However, recently when I was watching X-factor (US version Season 1), I heard Simon Cowell said " I just see....."
This has confused me a lot  since Simon is a native English speaker so I assume he is correct.
Please enlighten me!

many thanks!

Can you quote Cowell's complete sentence?

Just has several meanings.
