Sounds strange to me. I'd say:

The meeting is/will be held on 3rd May.
The meeting takes/will take place on 3rd May.
 
*Not a teacher

The meeting is kept on 3rd May.

Native speakers wouldn't say that, SirGod.

I see. However, it doesn't help students and non-native speakers to be given erroneous information.
