Leaves from what date

Hi guys,

If my boss asks me to go on leaves then can I say "From when do you want me to go on leaves" or "From what date do you want me to go on leaves" or "Since when do you want me to go on leaves" but I think "Since" can only be used for past.

When do you want me to start taking leave?

Yes, you cannot use 'since'.


I thought the date of the leave is decided by the employee and not by the employer, even though it could be a mutual arrangement.
