Dear Sir,
I am writing on behalf of the neighbourhood Association “Buztintzuri” to put forward our disaproval with the decision that has been taken by the Town Council to build a casino insteed of a nursery school.
According to the last meeting held with our Association on December 12th, we were all convinced of the need of a nursery and we do not understand why this change has occurred.
We are lucky to live in a young neighbourhood and we believe that we have to focus on covering first the basic necesities, such as a nursery, before building a casino.
The number of parents with kids aged between 0 and 3 have been increasing recently and they have to move eveyday more than 5 km to leave their children in the nearest nursery.
There are many reasons why the Association is against the casino. It will not create a healthy atmosphere to grow up our children, it will be a massive waste of money and will not cover the priorities of the neighbourhood. Our neighbourhood needs to invest more on the young people and part of this is a new nursery.
I hope you will take our views into account and should be most grateful if you could arrange a date to analyze and consider your decision.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully,

Please do not post the same question more than once. Since this one has a better title and the other one already has a response, I hope that a moderator can merge the two under this title.

Do you mean a casino for gambling? Those are usually built to generate revenue, not to waste money.

I have a couple of initial comments. You first mention a nursery school. From then on you refer to a nursery. You also mention children aged 0-3 and parents dropping them off. You have confused about the type of facility you are talking about. At the end, you have a phrase "consider your decision". If a decision has already been made, you may want to change that to "reconsider your decision".
