Have I made any mistakes?
Linda suffered one of the worst misfortunes in her life when her fake lashes fell off at a party. She had put them on to look more attractive, but in the end felt only stupid. She was so embarrassed that she ran out without saying goodbye to the host. As she strode towards her home in the cold evening, she was telling herself off, "You stingy cow! If you had bought a quality product this would never have happened."
