Hello.

When you are talking about someone who doesn't care about his future or who doesn't think about his future. What verb or expression would you use to describe such a person? The Russian expression is 'to live for today' but word for word translation doesn't always work.
It's not a phrase from a book. Unfortunately, I can't provide more context. The Russian expression is used in formal and everyday speech.

We say "Live for today," too.
 
The person lives like tomorrow never comes or like there's no tomorrow.
 
Because you only live once.
