What could be the meaning of "get" in the following sentence?

"Computers help teachers in their teaching lessons and getting students' grades.

I couldn't find a suitable meaning for it in Longman dictionary.

I'm not a native speaker. Nor do I find that sentence natural. But I reckon the getting could convey the idea of marking students' papers and providing teachers with their results by the computer.

The sentence doesn't make sense. Where did you find it?

Thanks for your reply. As I said it was in a simplifies text. The person who had simplified it was not proficient in English and I think this is the reason why this sentence has no sense.

If the students' grades were stored on the computer, this use of "getting" probably means "retrieving".
