Please check.

.

That sentence is perfectly grammatical but makes no sense.

Perhaps:

The minitruck opens in the back so you can easily put things in it.:-|

Backside is a way to say "buttocks". Trucks don't normally have those.

But there has to be a tailgate to stop the load falling off the back.

But there has to be a tailgate (out of sight) to stop the load falling off the back.

Flatbed trucks like the one in the picture typically have sockets to drop side- and tailgate assemblies into. We call such vehicles stake side trucks in AmE.

But it's back is permanently open. It cannot be opened.

Then it's a flatbed minitruck, as we've seen before.

It is neither correct (you have forgotten an indefinite article - again), nor a natural way to describe the van.

"Flatbed truck has a permanent open back."

A flatbed truck is a truck with a bed that has no sides or tailgate.

tufguy-
You're asking us to play 'Blind Men and the Elephant'. Work vehicles can be equipped in a bewildering array of configurations. If, and only if, you can provide a photo of the vehicle you wish to describe can we offer useful suggestions, other than correcting your use of articles.

That's remarkably similar to the photos Barb and Dave posted earlier. You could have told us then.

But this one has low sides and a tailgate.
