It's acceptable, but I'd tone it down a little, and say more about Tilburg itself. Show them you have spent two days learning everything you can about their faculty, and they will think you're much better than the other candidates.

First and foremost, thanks a lot for taking the time to read my letter! 
I had chosen to speak more about Tilburg in the scholarship letter (we must send them together), but I'll follow your advice and add something about Tilburg itself in the motivation letter as well... after all, I need to create more impact, right?
