Hello friends,
As you know that there are some people who can move objects by their brain or eyes.
I want to know what it is called in English?
Thank you
Really? It's something common among the persons who know how t do that but not any one is able to do that. I'm surprised for your answer.I didn't know that there were "some people could move objects by their brain or eyes". Why do you assume that I know that?
it is called telekinesis, the adjective for the people is telekinetic.
But I think it's proved that it's doable and some have done it.There are no people who can move things with their brain or their eyes.
My friend, I just asked if there exists any word to refer to that or not. I didn't ask anything more. Why do you assume that I know that?
No. You began your first post with 'As you know...'. Bhai naturally asked why you should assume that we know this. We don't. We know there are not any such people.I was looking for a word which exists in dictionaries. But moderator in post #2 answered me as if he was angry by my question.
sb, bai was responding to your words.I think this is not a cultural forum to talk about that why I asked this question or why I assume that they know there some exist such people.
If you ask ask a word for someone who doesn't exist, don't be surprised if people comment on this.Questions like this can make members afraid of asking further questions. I respect you all and thank you for your beautiful and helpful forum but I beg you not to take the answer of our questions to things which are off topic like this one:
This is not usually an appropriate form of address in English. My friend,
Why are you linking us to those dictionaries? ems told you that word in post #3.I just asked if there exists any word to refer to that or not. I didn't ask anything more.

Just you see what happens if you take off your garlic necklace, your silver crucifix and your red flannel combinations! You'll be laughing on the other side of your grave then. The word "vampire" exists but I doubt you will find anyone on this forum who believes that vampires exist in the real world.
Really? It's something common among the persons who know how t do that but not any one is able to do that. I'm surprised for your answer.
Haven't you seen any documentary or videos about that?
In that case, you might also be interested to know that vampires don't really exist. It's your choice what you believe, but you should be aware that documentaries exist about many things that don't exist or are untrue. In most English-speaking countries, it's legally permissible to make documentaries that assert almost anything.Everybody thanks for answering. I didn't know it was fake. I had watched some videos or documentaries about those kinds of people, that's why I thought they were real.
Then, I wouldn't believe on them too. Comments were helpful.
Thanks.
I didn't know these. Thank you so much. I was unaware about them. I shouldn't believe anything that I see in videos or documentaries. In that case, you might also be interested to know that vampires don't really exist. Telekinesis cannot exist within the current scientific paradigm, and has never been reliably demonstrated. There's also little evidence to suggest that we need a change in the scientific paradigm.
