I am writing an academic paper focusing on intergenarational intervantion program with music.
I wonder whether to use the term "music activity" or "musical activity".
Is there a main difference?
Thank you

Did you really mean that, or did you intend to write "Hello," instead? :)
Hello, and welcome to the forum. :)

I am writing an academic paper focusing on intergenarational intervention program with music.
That's ungrammatical and somewhat vague. Are you talking about one program, and how is music involved?

I'm not sure [STRIKE]wonder[/STRIKE] whether to use the term "music activity" or "musical activity".
Is there a [STRIKE]main[/STRIKE] major difference?
Thank you.
Show us the text (sentence) you want to write.

Hello.

I am writing an academic paper focusing on an intergenarational intervention program with music. I wonder whether [STRIKE]to[/STRIKE] I should use the term "music activity" or "musical activity". Is there a [STRIKE]main[/STRIKE] difference?

Thank you.

[STRIKE]Assaf[/STRIKE] Unnecessary. We can see your username.

Please note my corrections above, and note that I have improved the layout of your post. Leaving empty lines between sections is important. A big block of text is not easy to read or deal with.

As teechar said, we need to see the complete sentence you want to use in order to help you effectively.

In future, there is no need to open your posts with a greeting, nor to finish them with "Thank you". You can thank us after we help you, by clicking on the "Thank" button (it might not be visible until you have made ten public posts).

What sort of activity is it?

The academic paper offers musical activities (e.g. dancing, drumming, tapping and singing).
My current proposal for a title is :Synchronous musical mctivity as a mean for empathy enhancement between young and older adults and for stereotypes mitigation and prejudice reduction
Should I use the term "musical activity" or "music activity"?

Did you not read emsr2d2's advice about leaving empty lines to improve the layout and readability of your text? You'll certainly need to do that when you write your academic paper or nobody's going to read it.

You said musical activities in your opening sentence. That sounds right to me.

"Offers" is the wrong verb. Try something like "discusses", "evaluates" or "explores".

Dancing and playing will accure in different times of the intervantion.

These activities will not happen simultaneously.

I think you mean accrue at different times, but I'm not sure accrue is the right word.

Did you not notice that your misspelling of intervention was corrected by both teechar and emsr2d2 earlier? If you don't read our replies carefully we're wasting our time.

To sum your wise suggestions the proper title should be:

"Synchronous musical activity as a means of empathy enhancement between

young and older adults and for stereotype mitigation and prejudice reduction".

[STRIKE]To sum[/STRIKE] Taking into account your [STRIKE]wise[/STRIKE] suggestions, I think the [STRIKE]proper[/STRIKE] title should be:

"Synchronous musical activity as a [STRIKE]means of[/STRIKE] tool for empathy enhancement between young and older adults, and for stereotype mitigation and prejudice reduction".

Please note my changes above.
