1. What I did was prepare for dinner.
2. All I did was just eat.
3. The only thing I can do is run.
4. My dream is to buy a car.
5. My dream is buy a car.
I've learned that we can use bare infinitive when to infinitive is used as a complement of 'What noun + do + be verb ~',
'All noun + do + be verb' or 'The only thing + noun + do + be verb' clauses.
My question here is what about other kinds of clauses like sentence 5.
