Hi all,
Is there any adjective used to describe the feeling after you touch, say, a honey jar, a spoon in some syrup, etc.? I was thinking of 'sticky', but I'm not sure that's the way one, or one's hand might feel.

Thank you a lot.

Yes, your hands would be "sticky."

Thank you so much! What if honey dries up on one's hand? (It feels like it doesn't stick to anything anymore, but still you get that awful feeling you need to wash your hands!)

Best!

It could be tacky or crusty.
