(1) My hobby is collecting stamps.
(2) My hobby is to collect stamps.

These sentences are mine. Which one is correct and natural?

Equally:

My hobby is stamp collecting.
Would it also be idiomatic to say
My hobby is stamp collection.
?

What's the difference in meaning between
A) My hobby is stamp collecting.
B) My hobby is stamp collection.

I think both "stamp collecting" and "stamp collection" act as noun phrases here. Right?

NOT A TEACHER

Collecting is the activity itself. It's what you do. This is your hobby.
Collection is something you have. It's the result of your hobby, not the activity itself.
