I and my wife would like to thank you for helping my daughter pass her English Language exam.
Should I use 'My wife and I...'? I was taught that it is more polite to put 'I' last. However, in the case, I feel that 'I" should be used first as I am thanking the person first and my wife is secondary.
Am I correct in my analysis?
