Hi guys,

I have just come to know that we can't use "Myself, yourself etc" after words like "Concentrate, feel, relax, meet", is it true. There is one more question, is there any word like "Theirselves" or not?

I can certainly feel myself. My co-workers have asked me to stop doing it, in fact. ;-)

"Themselves" is a word.

I am not a teacher.

"Theirselves" is a non-standard form of "themselves" found in some local dialects.

What about my first question.

In general, that is true, but never say "never".

That is true but what is never say never?

I am not a teacher.

"Never say never" is an ironical way of admonishing someone who claims that something is never said or done, because such a claim is almost never true.

Some posters use absolutes such as "never" and "always" when asking questions.

In post #1 you wrote, "I have just come to know that we can't use..." This is a catagorical statement that leaves no room for exceptions. Without presuming to answer for Mike, I imagine he was playfully warning against thinking that you never can.

You can say informally

'I'm not at all well. I don't feel myself this morning.'

'I've got such a lot to do I'm meeting myself coming back.'

Those two contexts were things that I thought of also.

"I am going to the bank so often I am afraid I will meet myself in the lobby."
