I want to say something has the color of wheat. Can I use "wheat-coloured"? Are these okay?

1. Nadia was wearing a wheat-coloured dress.
2. There was a wheat-colored building opposite her house.
3. She took off her shirt, exposing her wheat-coloured skin.
4. A wheat coloured sofa sat in the corner of their living room.

They're OK. I think everybody knows what color wheat is, so that would work. Indeed, that's probably better than saying "saffron" or something like that.

I find it amusing that you used the AmE “color” in two of your sentences. ;)

”I want to say something has the color of wheat. Can I use "wheat-coloured"? No! If written, you would say “wheat-colored”. ;)
