Can we use the comparative of superiority with negative verbs? Is it possible to say: They aren't better than me or should we say: They aren't as good as I am?

Thank you in advance

Sónia

Welcome to the forum, Sónia.

Please note my corrections to your punctuation:

You could use 'They aren't better than me', but it's more natural to say 'They're no better than me'.

I agree that "They aren't better than me" is not the most natural way of saying it. However, I would use "They're not better than me".
