No two butterflies have exactly the same design on their wings.

What is the part of speech of 'No' in this sentence?
 
I am not a teacher.

It's a determiner.
 
Why can't 'none' be used here?
 
It doesn't work. "No" is an adjective. "None" isn't.
 
"Determiner" is a subset of adjective.
 
No two butterflies have the same wing pattern.
There are no two butterflies which have the same wing pattern.
How many butterflies have the same wing pattern? None.
Do any two butterflies have the same wing pattern? They do not.
