2) Of the fifty people in junior year, the grades of ten are very poor.

They aren’t incorrect, but it’s hard to think of a context where a native speaker would choose to use them. There are simpler and more natural ways to say the same thing.

Of the ten people in our group, five performed well.

Of the fifty people in the junior year, ten had very poor grades.

Those are better than the originals.
