"Of" vs "out of" vs "among"

Which sentences are correct?


1- Five out of the ten workers have left their jobs at this factory.

2- Five among the ten workers have left their jobs at this factory.

3- Five of the ten workers have left their jobs at this factory.

4- There are four people in my family. Two of them work in a factory and the other two do business.

5- There are four people in my family. Two among them work in a factory and the other two do business.

2 and 5 are unnatural. The others are fine.
 
4 and 5 would be better with "are businessmen" rather than "do business".
