Can I use both "in" and "on" in my sentences?


1 "I live in/on Lermontov street."

2. "There is a drugstore in/on Lermontov street."

3. "There are lots of shops on/in it."

4. "There are lots of shops on/in my street."

So much so, that 'in' is actually ungrammatical in AmE.
