If we emphaize the frequency of "every Sunday", which of the following sentences is corret?

1. I usually get up late on Sunday.
2. I usually get up late on Sundays.

Thanks.

If it's every Sunday, wouldn't always be better than usually?

Or Number 1, but with an a following on.

"I usually get up late on Sundays but today I've got to be at the airport for a 5 am flight!"

I wouldn't use always in this case.

It would not be unusual to hear "I always get up late on Sundays but today I've got to be at the airport for a 5 am flight!" The conjunction "but" creates an exception to the normal behavior.
