What's the one word for being good at something but shows otherwise?
Like my friend plays Ps3 really good but he pretends he does not. Is the term called patronizing?

not a teacher

In many contexts this would be called "bluffing", especially if he is doing it to trick others into playing against him, perhaps for money.

It may be called "patronizing" if he obviously plays badly, just to give his opponent a chance. The intention being to make a point of how superior he actually is.
