Don't you use "padded jacket" for the red one in the US?I would call the red one either a parka or just a heavy coat. It's hard to tell if the white one is a raincoat or a just a windbreaker.
I find the term 'windcheater' interesting - that's a new one for me. Living in a very windy climate, the notion that I can somehow "cheat" the wind seems somehow very satisfactory! :lol:
