Would it be correct if I say ' I am glad to have been invited' instead of 'I am glad for being invited'?
It would be wrong to say "I am glad for being invited".Would it be correct if I say ' I am glad to have been invited' instead of 'I am glad for being invited'? Yes.
Why? I have seen many times sentences like I am happy for being myself , for being invited etc. Is there a rule?
