past perfect continuous vs past continuous

Hi all,
Is there a significance difference between these two statements?

"I'd been traveling around England when I got a call from home."
"I was traveling around England when I got a call from home."s

"I'd been traveling around England when I got a call from home."
"I was traveling around England when I got a call from home.

The first may suggest that the travelling may have stopped at the time of the call, or soon after. The second does not, in itself, carry that suggestion.

Without context, it is difficult to say for certain. There may be no significant difference.
