Dear forumers!

I've been translating lots of scientific stuff lately and there's something I need to get straight for myself. In Russian texts, they often use the word "особенности". Well, literally it means "peculiarities". But something tells me that I should use some other term.

To make things clearer, I'll provide a title the term is used in:

Methodological Specifics/Characteristics/Peculiarities of Forecasting the Development of the Industrial Sector of a Region’s Economy Factoring in the Impact of Shock “Impulses” on It.

I just need you to tell me which of the terms in red sounds the most natural to you. Also, I need to know if "factoring in" (taking account of) could be replaced by "inclusive of" or "adjusted for". Thank you in advance.

Is it talking about all of the specifics of the methodology, or are only some aspects of it that are odd, curious, or peculiar?

Yes - it looks into all of the specifics of that methodology. That's the thing - I don't really like the term "peculiarities" in this context. Which one would you use personally?

I would say "methodological specifics" or just shorten it to "methodology."

What about :

Forecasting Methods for the Development of the Industrial Sector of a Region’s Economy...

or

Special Forecasting Methods for the Development of the Industrial Sector of a Region’s Economy...
(to set them apart from others)

not a teacher
