1) Last night, people who live on our street made a lot of noise.
2) Last night, people who live on our street were arrested by the police.

Do these sentences mean all the people who live on our street?

3) Precious objects that were in the building were smashed by the vandals.
4) The windows and precious objects that were in the building were smashed by the vandals.

Do these mean that all the precious objects that were in the building were smashed?

It seems to me that for the sentences to have the 'all' meanings, we have to have 'the people' and 'the precious objects'. The way they stand it is unclear whether they mean 'some of them' or 'all of them'.

Gratefully,
Navi

For number three say:

Precious objects that were in the building were smashed by vandals.

For number four say:

The windows and the precious objects that were in the building were smashed by vandals.
