Hi guys.
I'm making a party song, and I want to use this phrase in it "I'm the one at a party, doing ~ ", but I'm wondering if it is natural to use this phrase in a party song or is it weird?

To be honest, yes, it is weird.

What's the point of what you're trying to do?

Hi jutfrank,

Perhaps it might be easier if the OP were able and willing to upload the full set of lyrics.

Cheers.

Rover_KE,

I have already stated that I am a 'mature student' of 3 subjects (English being included in the list). Is this not suffice?

Sorry, monsterjazzlicks—you get corrected around here! Even native speakers. No offence.

(suffice is a verb, not an adjective.)

It's OK, I am here to learn! I am dyslexic though and so, admittedly, it often takes me quite a few attempts to fully grasp something new.

It would make my day if you'd graciously add 'Not a teacher' to your signature line, and delight the many other members who've willingly done the same.
