Is the sentence "Please do not make noises and keep silent/silence." ambiguous?
Is that sentence meaning "Please keep silent/silence and do not make noises." or "Please do not make noises and do not keep silent/silence."?

Thanks a lot!

It's redundant and potentially contradictory.

Is the sentence "Please do not make[STRIKE] noises [/STRIKE] noise and keep silent. [STRIKE] /silence [/STRIKE]." ambiguous? Perhaps redundant but not ambiguous.
Is that sentence meaning "Please keep silent/silence and do not make noises." or "Please do not make noises and do not keep silent/silence."? See above.

Thanks a lot!
