I have previously posted two threads for each questions, this is the answer for the third question;

What is the extent to which you will have a long-term interest in Ireland and how will you promote links with Ireland during your time as a scholar and alumni?

My long-term interest in Ireland is closely connected to my academic and professional commitment to sustainability and circular economy innovation. Through my studies at University College Cork, I hope to gain insight into Ireland’s progressive sustainability policies and its growing ecosystem of organisations working in sustainable business and circular production. In the short term, I aim to pursue a career in impact consulting focused on sustainable production systems and circular fashion initiatives, and Ireland’s active engagement in circular economy policy and green enterprise makes it an ideal environment to develop this expertise.

During my time as a scholar, I intend to actively engage with the academic and professional networks available through the Government of Ireland International Education Scholarship community and the wider sustainability sector in Ireland. Participating in seminars, sustainability initiatives, and professional events will allow me to build relationships with researchers, students, and industry professionals working on circular economy and sustainable business practices.

My long-term connection to Ireland will continue beyond my studies through active involvement in alumni networks like the UCC Alumni and Friends, a vibrant alumni network that connects graduates globally through a dedicated LinkedIn page, professional collaborations, and knowledge exchange. As my career develops in the field of impact consulting, I hope to maintain professional relationships with Irish researchers, institutions, and sustainability organisations, creating opportunities for continued collaboration and learning. By remaining engaged with the GOI-IES alumni community and sharing insights from my professional work, I aim to contribute to the global network of scholars connected to Ireland.

Through these continued academic and professional engagements, I hope to maintain a lasting personal and professional connection with Ireland while contributing to the exchange of ideas and innovation in sustainable business and circular economy practices.
