I have underlined the main errors. It should read something along the lines of:

In some of the Asian countries, textile labourers are illiterate, and hence prone to make blunders/serious mistakes-some of which prove fatal- while working on heavy machinery. We must realize that these labourers are the backbone of textile industry in those countries. So, we should try and create/raise awareness among labourers and arrange training programs for them, so that they may work efficiently and without risking lives.
