Plough with somebody

In Czech, we have a slang phrase we use when we want to describe a situation where one person does with another what he or she wants. The literal translation is to plough with somebody.


"The wife has her husband under her thumb. She ploughes with him as she likes. He always does as he is told."

"The guy must be really stupid if he lets her girlfriend plough with him like that; he is at her beck and call."


Does a similar phrase exist in English?

In BrE, that would be "wrapped around her little finger".

Sometimes you'll hear 'pinky' substituted for 'little finger' as well, at least in AmE.

We don't use that term in BrE though most people know what it means thanks to American TV and films.
