Are these verbs suitable in this sentence? If not, what can you recommend?

This is probably the 'expulsion' the writer was talking about, but it's conceivable - I don't say 'possible', as I'm not a cosmologist - that s/he meant because of its irregular orbit it was more likely to be subject to some kind of centrifugal force. But as I say I don't know whether that's possible, and the words are even more poorly chosen. ;-)

Perhaps you mean to say: “Pluto was removed from the list of planets in the Solar System ….”

Pluto has never been “kicked out” or “thrown out” of the Solar System. Whether it is considered a planet or not, it is still part of the Solar System.
