Preffered vs. Prefferable?

'Those countries are preffered/prefferable in exporting shrimps.'

Which word is suitable in the sentence above do you think? :roll:
In my opinion, it should be prefferable.

The words are "preferred" and "preferable".

It's impossible to make good judgment with such a limited context. Could you give some more of it? The two words can often be used interchangably.

Either word gives a correct sentence, but in some contexts you couldn't use "preferable". That's why I asked you to provide the context.
