Hello,

Does this sentence sound ok with the Present Perfect of "borrow"? Or should I change the verb to make it work in the Present Perfect?

Since my car crashed into the pole, I have borrowed my brother's car a few times when I have to run errands.

Thank you.

Nawee

What you need to do is change the last verb to perfect tense.
Since my car crashed into the pole, I have borrowed my brother's car a few times when I have to run errands.
Since my car crashed into the pole, I have borrowed my brother's car a few times when I have had to run errands.

Does this help?
Sincerely,
-Les

It really helps! Thank you, Les.
