Dear sir/madam,

If I need to complete a sentence like "I cooked a dinner for my family. I am ..." Can I write "proud of it" ? Can I use it to refer cooking a dinner for my family?

I think it's perfectly reasonable to be proud of having cooked a tasty meal for your family (provided it was actually edible, of course!) You can say that you are proud of any accomplishment.

Welcome to the forum, Mrs Tong:hi: and congratulations on giving your first thread a great title . The word 'proud' found a number of Similar Threads which are listed below. You may find this feature useful in the future.

(There's no need to write 'Dear sir/madam' - just go ahead and ask your question.)
