Hi Teachers,
Could you tell me if the following title is correct? What I don't like is the colon, can I subtitute it with a period? Any other suggestions for the title are more than welcome.

The Simple Past with ‘Ago’ and ‘How long Ago?’: Reading & Writing Activities

Though in this title, there is no problem with the ellipsis for me, in the one above I just don't feel it is the right one. Am I right about this one?
Quantifiers: Reading & Writing Activities

Information to consider: There more than just a few titles with this idea, '... : Reading & Writing Activities' in my manuscript.

Thanks in advance

Which title does "this" refer to? In normal English, it would mean the one you've just given, but you now go on to identify that as "the one above". And naturally the ellipsis in the title above doesn't concern you because it does not contain one.

in the one above I just don't feel it is the right one. Am I right about this one? The one below? But why include the above title. It doesn't seem to have a purpose, Let's forget it, and move on to your question, which seems to be the appropriateness of the ellipsis in the following title.

No. ", '... :" would be a bizarre sequence of punctuation anywhere.
The comma has no purpose; nor does the apostrophe, nor the ellipsis. And It's the third colon you've used in your heading. I'm sure you could do better.

Re: Question about a title: Ellipsis

I don't see any ellipsis.

Hi,
So sorry I meant colon. The colon :)) in the title.
I have already corrected it in my original post.

It still doesn't makes sense. You still have "Though in this title, there is no problem with the ellipsis for me", which I explained doesn't makes sense.
Changing your words doesn't change my comment:
No. ", '... :" would be a bizarre sequence of punctuation anywhere.
I can't spend further time guessing what you mean, but please reconsider re-posting your question in a new thread after you've rethought it, and written what you mean.
