Question on Book Dedication

We are writing a book dedication for a class cookbook. We are dedicating the book to the teacher (Mrs. C), the teacher assistant (Mrs. V) and to the parents. Is the following sentence correct? "This cookbook is lovingly dedicated to Mrs. C, Mrs. V, and to our parents who nourish us each in mind, body, and spirit." I do not know if it should read "and to our parents" or just "and our parents"? Any other suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!!

It looks fine to me as it is (....', and to our parents...'). :up:

The only thing that, to me, reads "strange", so to speak, is dedicating anything to your teachers in the same degree of intensity as you do to your parents (personal opinion here). I mean, "lovingly" I would apply to my parents, but I would look for a different qualifier for the teachers.

If seriously concerned about this, you could say something like

This cookbook is dedicated respectfully to Mrs. C, Mrs. V, lovingly to our parents, and with gratitude to all - they nourish us each in mind, body, and spirit."

Whatever you do, keep the word 'nourish' - which is very well chosen! :up:

I'm a bit of a nut about parallelism.
This isn't parallel: To C, V, and to P
This is paralllel: To C and V, and to P.
This is parallel: to C, V, and P.

Most people would never care. I agree that "nourish" is a great term.
My daughter would lovingly dedicate things to a number of her teachers.
