The following is extracted from an example of payment receipt:


Received from xxx the amount of xxx, representing the payment of:
Two (2) months deposit and one (1) month advance

for the lease of condominium unit xxx x, xxx City.

Is representing a correct word to use?
 
Yes, that works.

I would not capitalize the word "two". Normally, the condominium's address would be included.

Are there substitutes for "representing"?
 
In legalese, you will run across "in consideration of/for" to refer to money paid for something.
