"Auther Profesional correspondence to customer and venders"
I saw in a resume for my company. What is that meaning "Auther" in this case? Sort of "Really profesional"? :-?

"Author professional correspondence to customers and vendors"

They are so really professional that they professionally misspelled 3 words, including author.

I hope you hire them ASAP to write, I mean auther, all your correspondence. :-D

Dear lord. It's people like that who keep me employed.
I'm authering a prezentashun rite now.

More on topic, the person intended to use the word "author," which is usually a noun, as a verb meaning "to write."

She authored three books on the subject means she wrote three books on the subject. In this case the person wrote letters to customers.

I generally favor simplicity and see no reason to use the word "author" when the perfectly acceptable word "write" is available.
