Hi there

Recently I have stumbled upon this name, scurry hub, which is the name of a restaurant. I cannot really make any meaning of it, so that is why I am turning to you.

Scurry means a way of moving around hurriedly with small steps.

Hub I thought could mean a group a for instance a hub of countries, but it turns out it really cannot. And that it more means the centre of something.

So how exactly should this name be perceived in your opinion?

Maybe that it's the center of some furious activity (like preparing food, perhaps).

Yeah as I said it is a restaurant/take away.

So I guess I can translate it with a place (in this case a kitchen) where a lot of activity is happening?

I expect it is the patrons (not the kitchen staff) intended to be described as scurrying around, trying to get somewhere and stopping off for a bite to eat along the way.

Look at their website. You can contact them and ask them why they chose that name.

You could probably call in person if you live close by.
