I had correspondence with my colleague, and at the ent of the conversation I sent to her

"Thank you very much! See you soon for a coffee or lunch"

Did I make mistake? And if so, how would it sound more natural?

Thanks!

Whether you made a mistake or not depends on how she responds.

(Can you find the errors in your post?)

You could have said Hope to see you soon....

Thank you....I was reffering to a proper preposition. Like, should I have said

"See you soon at the coffee or lunch".

Prepositions are really pain in neck:)

To be precise- I wrote

"See you soon for the lunch or coffee" not vice versa

No. I wouldn't use "the coffee" unless referring to a specific event. And while I suppose you can say "the lunch" the same thing applies.

Say:

Prepositions are really a pain in the neck.

"See you soon for a coffee or lunch" is fine (as Piscean said). (In post #2 I made no comment on that, and that was a comment.)

Thanks guys...after I wrote this I searched on google just to see whether I was right or not, and there was a bunch of "at lunch, to lunch" etc etc popped up, but none "for lunch".

This website is my refuge;-)
