"She has an acute sense for detail."

Sounds perfectly fine to me. You?

Thanks!

Anyone (except britamerican)?

Thank you!

"She has an acute sense for detail."
It doesn't sound natural to me.

One can have an eye, ear and possibly nose for detail, but, IMO, only a sense of detail. This may be just a personal feeling.

a false sense of security
in the literal sense of the word
in every sense of the word
a sense of guilt
a sense of proportion
a sense of humor
a sense of responsibility
a sense of beauty
but
a feeling for the beautiful
