Should there be space?

Which one is right? Is 2. and 4. ok?

Should there space? I am asking this because sometimes in email/websites, links are automatically convert to clickable links and the last . or ) is also added to the link and the link cannot be loaded.

Which one is right? [STRIKE]Is[/STRIKE] Are 2. and 4. ok? You are talking about 2 and 4: two subjects, so the verb becomes 3rd person plural

There should never be a space between the last word in a sentence and the full stop, and neither should there be any space between the brackets and the phrase inside. If you are formatting such links and having problems, format the link first and then add the last piece of punctuation.

That is true most of the time. However, when one ends a sentence with a hot link, the period/full stop becomes part of link but then the link does not work. I leave a space between a hot link and a full stop if the link ends the sentence. The same would be true of a bracket.
