Hello, what would be the correct tense:

"From that day on, I´ve never tried it again."

OR

"From that day on, I never tried it again."

?

"That day" is a specific day in the past so Simple Past would seem correct; but after "that day" the action continues on to this day, so Present Perfect would maybe seem the right one.

So, which one?

Thanks!

Your reasoning for the present perfect is correct. Use it, but don't capitalize its name. The names of tenses are not proper nouns.

The present perfect is appropriate for something that started at a point in time in the past and continue to the present. Also, it goes with never.
