Hello,

I have seen that this since plus time plus ago is sometimes used, and I think it is not correct even if it can be found in some books and or authentic material written by native speakers.

Could anyone confirm?

Thanks and regards,

Welcome!

I don't see any problem with "since two weeks ago". It's just like any other starting point in the past.

Since (2008)(January 2010)(last month)(two weeks ago)(4 o'clock this afternoon) the situation has improved a lot.
